The second season of Highschool DxD was announced as will in the OVA bundled with the 13th volume of the original novel.

This is also an update on September 6:
Acccording to Fujimishobo, a new OVA of Highschool DxD was announced to be released in May 2013. It will be the unaired episode 14 of the first season and will be bundled with the 15th volume of the novel. You can also check out more info at Anime news network [link]
I also know for those who heard and seen of the news on this, tell others, and to spread and post it to fans of the anime who also wished for the 2nd season to come true. The 2nd season for High school DxD should be out 2013-2014. We will have to see for our selves soon on the next updates from the original creator and producers behind the series as well.
